In the first few classes, students discuss current events that interest them. They then choose debate topics and work in teams to study different sides of each issue. Students learn how to develop arguments, find supporting information, ask questions, and respond to different opinions. The course ends with team debates followed by group and class discussions. Students also complete peer assessments and self-reflections.

近年、コンピュータやインターネット、情報システムの利用は急速に進んでおり、それにまつわる技術も合わせて進展している。
この授業では、インターネットや情報システムの現状、次世代の通信技術等の紹介を交えながら、これからのコンピュータや、インターネット、情報システムの今後について学習・考察するのが目的である。必要に応じて学生自らが調べ討論を行う。
In recent years, the utilization of computers, the Internet, and information systems has grown rapidly, driven by continuous advancements in underlying technologies.
The objective of this course is to explore and analyze the future of computing, the Internet, and information systems. The lectures will cover the current landscape of information systems and introduce next-generation communication technologies. Where appropriate, students will be expected to conduct independent research and participate in discussions.
